This past Saturday, October 31st, Mason Jager and Dan Collins bested their PR’s on this cool and crisp morning. Mason finished 15th to earn All-Region honors with a time of 17:17, and his finish also qualified him as an individual for the MHSAA State meet. Dan also topped off his season with a 46th-place finish and a time of 19:31, besting his PR by 10 seconds. Mason was able to achieve the second-fastest TCCS 5k time and is only the second male to qualify for the MHSAA State meet for the Sabres, following Corey Marshall, when Corey ran a 16:54 at the 2005 MHSAA State Meet. Please keep Mason, Mason’s family, and the coaches in your prayers as they travel to the MHSAA State Meet, being held on Saturday, November, 7th at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, MI. The state finals will be live-streamed on NFHS Network!
