It was a fantastically successful weekend for Sabre Bowling – especially considering that TC Christian’s official MHSAA high school enrollment of 69, places us as the smallest bowling school in the State of Michigan. This weekend we prevailed over schools many times our size.

On Saturday the TCCS girls won the team championship for the first time in our school’s history The girls averaged 158 for their six Baker games, beating 2nd place Traverse City West by 64 pins.

This weekend completed the Sabre’s Conference season as next week it is on to the MHSAA Regionals. The TCCS girls team had a dominating Conference season. The girls won: The D III/IV team championship, team high series and team high game. Individually, Ella Wendel won D III/IV girls high series, high average and points won, and Hannah Elenbaas won girls high game.
The Sabres placed two girls on the GNHSBC Dream Team – Ella Wendel and Brook Smith. and two on the D III/IV All Conference team – Rachael Burch and Hannah Elenbaas. For the boys, Hunter Haldaman earned a spot on the GNHSBC Dream Team and won the high average award for D III/IV.
