The Sabre bowlers completed a very successful Conference campaign this weekend with fine showings in the GNHSBC Singles and Team tournaments.
In the Singles tournament, on the boys side Hunter Haldaman finished 2nd overall and bowled the highest game of the tournament a 257. Ethan Haldaman finished 6th on the boys side. On the girls side, Savanah Bluemel finished 4th and Emily Bluck 7th.
In the team tournament, The girls finished 2nd overall while the boys finished 6th, and were the 3rd highest Division III / IV scoring team.
For the overall Conference season, The Traverse City Christian Sabre girls varsity team of: Savanah Bluemel, Emily Bluck, Brooke Smith, Lily VanBrocklin, and Ella Wendel were the Division III / IV champions – the third consecutive Conference title for TCCS. The girls varsity also took home honors for bowling the high team game and high team series. Savanah Bluemel earned a spot on the Conference girl’s Dream Team while also leading the Division III / IV girls in average, and high series. Savanah and Brooke Smith were the Conference leaders in matches won, both winning 17 of their 18 individual matches. Finally, Brooke Smith, Emily Bluck, and Ella Wendel earned spots on the Division III / IV Girls All-Conference team.
On the boys side, both Ethan and Hunter Haldaman earned places on the Division III / IV Boys All-Conference team. Hunter also led the boys side in matches won with 15.

Friday is the Team Competition with Girls beginning at 9:00am and Boys at 2:00pm.
Saturday is the Singles Competition with Boys beginning at 9:00am and Girls at 1:00pm.
